For Women in Science — Spain National Programme (2026)

The For Women in Science Spain National Programme is a national award programme that recognises outstanding research projects led by women scientists at postdoctoral level. The programme awards five annual endowments of €15,000 to selected recipients. Eligible candidates must be employed under contract at a research centre or institution and be working in Spain. Selection takes into account research experience, originality and quality of the project, and its contribution to society.

Postdoctoral women researchers up to a maximum age of 40, working in Spain with a contract at a research centre or institution; applications/nomination are for projects developed by women scientists and assessed on experience, research career, originality and quality.

Call for applications/nomination by research centres/institutions; candidates must hold a contract at a research centre and be nominated or submitted through their institution.
