Prijs Octaaf Dupont Fonds

The Prijs Octaaf Dupont Fonds is a research prize awarded by the Royal Academy of Medicine of Belgium for fundamental scientific research on human and animal physiology and physiopathology using biotechnological methods. The prize recognises an individual researcher or two collaborating researchers for a scientific treatise or a collection of publications in Dutch or English. Works written to obtain an academic degree and works previously rewarded with an equivalent or higher prize are ineligible. The prize amount is 4,000 euro.

4,000 euro prize

An individual researcher or two collaborating researchers may apply. The research must have been carried out mainly at Flemish universities; the work must be a scientific treatise or a bundle of publications (not a thesis) in Dutch or English. Candidates who applied for or who are laureates of certain previous Academy prizes within the last twelve months are ineligible.

Complete the provided candidate form and submit via the webform with required attachments: a one-page summary, a Web of Science search result file listing the 50 most-cited publications, and a PDF of up to 10 relevant publications (or a thesis).
