Prijs Dr. José Daels voor gynaecologie-verloskunde

The Prijs Dr. José Daels voor gynaecologie-verloskunde is an academic prize awarded for a scientific dissertation or a bundle of publications in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology focused on maternal and child health during pregnancy and birth. The prize recognises individual researchers or a pair of collaborating researchers and includes a monetary award intended partly as a personal reward and partly for continuation of research. Submissions may be in Dutch, French or English and works previously written to obtain an academic degree are ineligible.

Monetary prize of 10,000 euro (3,000 euro personal; 7,000 euro for research continuation).

An individual researcher or two cooperating researchers may submit one candidature. Candidates must have obtained their doctoral degree less than ten years before the application deadline (with documented full-month maternity, parental or sick leave periods excluded from the calculation). Candidates must not have been a candidate in the previous 12 months for a prize of the Academy and must not be a laureate of a category 2 or 3 prize of the Academy.

Complete the provided application form and web form; include a one-page summary, a Web of Science search result listing the top 50 most-cited publications, a PDF with up to 10 relevant publications (or thesis), and, if applicable, official documents proving periods of full-month maternity, parental or sick leave.
