Fulbright-KAUTE Foundation Award

The Fulbright-KAUTE Foundation Award enables doctoral students and young postdoctoral scholars to carry out research projects in the United States while acting as ambassadors for the Fulbright program, Finland, and their home institution. The award targets applicants in the fields of Business, Economics and Technology and supports transatlantic mobility of Finnish researchers. Grants are awarded under existing Fulbright Finland grant programmes and successful applications to those programmes in the eligible fields are automatically considered for the KAUTE award.

Monetary grant (up to USD 50,000) to fund a research visit in the U.S.; opportunity to act as a Fulbright ambassador and build research collaborations.

The award can be applied for by doctoral students and young postdoctoral scholars in the fields of Business, Economics and Technology.

Applicants submit to one of Fulbright Finland's grant programmes (e.g. ASLA-Fulbright Graduate Grant, Pre-Doctoral Fellows, Research Grants for Junior Scholars); applications in eligible fields are automatically considered for the KAUTE Award and applicants should follow the application instructions on the specific Fulbright programme pages.
