Premi per a treballs de recerca de batxillerat en física (Institut d'Estudis Catalans / Societat Catalana de Física)

A prize for secondary school research projects (TREC) with a strong physics content, awarded to works written in Catalan. It is open to projects carried out in centres of the Catalan-language territories during the 2025-2026 school year. The jury is appointed by the Board of the Societat Catalana de Física and may require interviews or expert advice. Winners must adapt their work to an article format for publication in the Revista de Física.

Monetary award (600 € for each of two main prizes; 300 € for up to four accèssits) and a diploma; publication of an adapted article in Revista de Física is required of winners.

Students who presented a TREC (batxillerat research project) during the 2025-2026 academic year in centres (public, concerted or private) of the Catalan-language territories; the project must have physics as its main subject and be original and written in Catalan.

Submit applications online via the IEC form with PDF of the TREC, supporting documentation, a tutor's cover letter certifying originality and centre, and a copy of the candidate's ID; send the signed submission receipt to premis@iec.cat.
