Kritikerstipend

Kritikerstipend is an annual stipend programme awarding 12 individual grants to critics who write about art and culture for Norwegian newspapers, TV and radio. Each stipend is NOK 250,000 and is awarded for one year, with a small portion permitted for travel and further education while the main part is intended to strengthen the recipient's ability to earn a living from criticism. Two of the stipends are earmarked specifically for criticism of computer games. Applicants must be published in independent media edited according to the Norwegian Editor's Code.

Critics whose target audience is the Norwegian public and who publish in independent media edited according to the Norwegian Editor's Code. Two stipends are earmarked for criticism of computer games.

Submit a 2–3 page description of planned criticism activities for the coming year, include confirmation from affiliated editorial offices regarding publishing agreement and current fee levels, and provide an overview of overall income situation.
