Carl-Duisberg-Plakette

The Carl-Duisberg-Plakette is an award presented by the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) to individuals who have rendered special services to the promotion of chemistry and the goals of the GDCh. The prize consists of a gold medal and a certificate. It was established in 1953 by Bayer AG and commemorates the industrial chemist Carl Duisberg.
