ASOR Study of Collections Fellowship

The ASOR Study of Collections Fellowship provides short-term funding to support the study of museum, archival, and repository collections relevant to the Near East and wider Mediterranean. ASOR plans to offer two fellowships of $2,000 each for research-related travel and per diem. Recipients are required to submit a brief report and images after completing their research and must grant ASOR rights to include their report and photographs in ASOR publications.

$2,000 travel/per diem/research expenses (subject to restrictions)

Applicants must be current ASOR members. Preference is given to ASOR members who work in the fields of the Near East and wider Mediterranean and who hold the Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree; additional preference to applicants who have not received another ASOR fellowship or grant in the past five years.
