Directors Focus Sessions at JMM 2027

The Directors Focus Sessions at JMM 2027 are facilitated discussion sessions for leaders of undergraduate and graduate mathematics programs to address curriculum, recruitment, mentoring, student success, and program administration. Sessions bring together Directors of Undergraduate Studies, Directors of Graduate Studies, department chairs, program coordinators, faculty leaders, and others involved in mathematics program administration. Participation requires RSVP and Joint Mathematics Meetings 2027 registration. Sessions include separate and joint meetings for undergraduate and graduate program leadership.

Facilitated discussions, exchange of best practices, professional networking, opportunity to influence AMS resources and initiatives, and session-specific conversations on curriculum, recruitment, mentoring, and use of data/technology.

Directors of undergraduate and graduate mathematics programs, department chairs, program coordinators, faculty leaders, and others involved in mathematics program administration are welcome to participate; JMM 2027 registration is required.

RSVP by the stated deadline (RSVP required to express interest); JMM 2027 registration is mandatory. Participants may select up to three discussion topics or suggest additional topics when submitting the RSVP.
