European Union Youth Sounding Board for Malawi 2026

The Malawi Youth Sounding Board (MW-YSB) is an EU-backed space for Malawian youths to engage with EU cooperation policies, provide feedback, and contribute to shaping and monitoring EU programmes affecting youth in Malawi. It aims to facilitate dialogue between youth and the EU, foster participation in employment, entrepreneurship, and skills development, and strengthen networks with local and global organisations. Members serve a two-year mandate and participate in trainings, meetings, field visits, and reporting on activities related to EU initiatives in Malawi.

Participation in trainings, at least four meetings per year, involvement in activities and field visits organized by the EU Delegation, and the preparation of reports and feedback over the two-year mandate.

Malawian nationals resident in Malawi, aged 18-30, who are creative, motivated, and keen to contribute to the functioning of the Board.
