The AES Epidemiology Track is a full-time, two-year competency-based applied epidemiology training programme. It includes three months of in-person didactic training in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, followed by 21 months of applied training at a site hosted by an African Union Member State. Successful applicants participate in experiential activities such as data analysis, surveillance system evaluation, and outbreak investigation, with supervision and mentorship throughout the fellowship. Africa CDC covers learning materials, travel-related costs, stipends, hardware, software and health insurance.

شروط الأهلية
Applicants must be citizens of an African Union Member State, be under the age of 35, be employed in an African country with permission from their government to attend the two-year training, and hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or doctoral-level training) in one health or related fields with relevant coursework in epidemiology or quantitative methods.
