IHDCYH Youth Advisory Council 2026

The IHDCYH Youth Advisory Council 2026 is a group of diverse young Canadians who will discuss health-related topics and contribute youth perspectives to IHDCYH. Council members meet online to share ideas, represent regions across Canada, and engage with IHDCYH on priority development and policy discussions. Members receive an annual honorarium, may count participation as volunteer time, receive a certificate of participation, and travel costs are covered when representing IHDCYH at events.

Applicants must be between 12 and 25 years old and live in Canada; they should be able to commit to about 3-5 hours per month and be available for a two-year term.

Submit an application consisting of demographic questions and short written prompts; prompts cover self-introduction, contributed skills, representation of groups, and equity/diversity/inclusion experiences.
