OIST 2026 Admissions Open

Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) has opened admissions for its 2026 fully funded PhD programme and research internships in STEM fields. The programme includes a 5-year fully funded PhD track and 3-6 month research internships for undergraduate and master’s students, with English-language coursework and mentorship from international faculty.

Open to international students; PhD applicants must have completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree (or expect to graduate before enrolment). Research internships are open to final-year undergraduates or master’s students.
