Purdue University Summer Exchange Program 2026

The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) at Purdue University is a competitive summer fellowship that pairs undergraduate students with faculty researchers in engineering disciplines. Participants engage in full-time research, develop a research topic, attend seminars and professional development activities, and deliver a final poster or presentation.

Undergraduate students enrolled in engineering, science, mathematics, or related fields who have a faculty mentor willing to supervise their research, and who are available full-time during the summer.

Applications are prepared with transcripts, statement of purpose, faculty mentor endorsement, and a resume; selections are made by program administrators and faculty mentors
