Fully Funded PhD Opportunity – Dublin City University (School of Law and Government) 2026

A fully funded PhD scholarship at Dublin City University's School of Law and Government starting September 2026. The position is part of the SEAI-funded SHINE project and includes a stipend and tuition coverage for four years. Applicants come from various backgrounds and will conduct interdisciplinary research on topics related to social justice, governance, and energy transitions.

€25,000 annual stipend; tuition fees covered up to the non-EU rate for four years; interdisciplinary research environment; opportunities for skills development and academic growth.

Applicants must hold a Level 8 Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is desirable but not mandatory. Irish, EU, and international candidates are welcome; strong interest in social justice, governance, and interdisciplinary research is required; readiness to work on policy design, citizen engagement, housing, and technological systems.
