UNESCO Internship Programme 2026

UNESCO offers internship opportunities that provide practical work in UNESCO priority areas, helping interns understand the Organization’s mandate and gain relevant work experience to prep for their future careers. Internships last several months and involve assignment in education, science or culture settings.

Limited medical insurance coverage up to USD 30,000 during the internship; 2.5 days of leave per month.

You may apply if you have completed a full-time university degree or are enrolled in a graduate programme, or have recently graduated within the last 12 months. Applicants must be at least 20 years old, with fluency in English or French.
