Bayreuth Humboldt Centre Short Term Grants 2026 for International Researchers

The Bayreuth Humboldt Centre Short Term Grants 2026 support international researchers to visit the University of Bayreuth for a short collaborative research stay. Grants cover travel and accommodation for a stay of 1 to 3 weeks and are open to researchers who have completed a PhD. The programme supports researchers from all disciplines to work with a host at Bayreuth and to develop joint research.

Up to €3,500 for travel and accommodation; potential for a 1 to 3 week research stay and collaboration with a host at the University of Bayreuth.

Applicants must have completed a PhD and present a strong research proposal with a plan for collaboration at the University of Bayreuth.
