Youth4Local Government Accountability Workshop

A 3-day capacity-building workshop under the LGAP project by TurnUp Jigawa. It trains 54 youth leaders in local governance monitoring, budget tracking, civic engagement, and policy advocacy, with the aim of empowering them to become accountability champions in their communities. The workshop covers governance, transparency, accountability, and community development, and offers networking opportunities within the statewide Youth Accountability Trackers network.

Practical skills in budget tracking and monitoring; policy advocacy and transparency promotion skills; tools for civic engagement; membership in a statewide network of Youth Accountability Trackers.

Youth residents of Jigawa State aged 18–35. Young women and Persons with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
