BIS PhD Fellowship Programme 2026

The BIS PhD Fellowship Programme offers a three-month funded placement in Basel, Switzerland, for doctoral students in economics, finance, or related disciplines. Fellows work with BIS economists and research analysts on policy-relevant projects and have access to seminars, workshops, and visiting scholars. The fellowship provides a stipend, health insurance coverage, and relocation support, with flexible start dates between April and December 2026.
