British Council English and School Education Scholarships Scheme 2026

The British Council English and School Education Scholarships Scheme 2026 funds 40 fully funded scholarships for experienced English language teachers and teacher educators to undertake part-time online master’s qualifications in TESOL, while continuing to work in their home countries. The scholarships cover full tuition, return travel, and living expenses for a two-week UK-based study visit, with specific programmes arranged by region of eligibility. Participants must be active English language teachers or teacher educators and meet the academic entry criteria for the chosen master’s programme.

Applicants must be passport holders and permanent residents of an eligible country, work in or directly with the government education system, be an active English language teacher or teacher educator, and meet the academic entry criteria for the chosen master’s programme.
