Villgro Africa Health Equity for Africa Program 2025

The Health Equity for Africa Program is an incubation, acceleration, and catalytic funding initiative by Boehringer Ingelheim and Villgro Africa to support social enterprises addressing health disparities across Sub-Saharan Africa. Selected social enterprises receive catalytic funding and structured incubation and mentorship, with opportunities for investor connections and a showcase at a major event. The program includes an incubation phase followed by an acceleration phase, with access to grants up to USD 80,000, mentorship, and investor networks, culminating in exposure at the MMH T convention in Germany.

Social enterprises must be registered for-profit with operations in at least one African market, post-revenue with minimum annual revenue of USD 250,000, and seeking to raise USD 1M+ in the next year, among other criteria.
