CEF Digital calls for Smart European Cable Systems and Backbone Connectivity projects

Two funding calls under the European Commission's CEF Digital programme were published on 2026-03-17 to finance submarine data cables and digital infrastructure projects. The calls target investments in Smart European Cable Systems and studies/expansion projects to improve backbone connectivity including terrestrial and satellite-supported infrastructures.
