Chemistry Travel Award

The Chemistry Travel Award provides contributions towards the cost of participation at an international conference in the chemical sciences for selected PhD students. It supports active presentations (poster or talk) at conferences taking place outside Switzerland and lasting at least three days. The award offers a monetary contribution to help cover attendance costs. Winners must provide a certificate of attendance after the conference to receive reimbursement.

CHF 1000 contribution; reimbursement upon submission of certificate of attendance within 60 days after the conference.

Applicants must be doing their PhD at a Swiss institution at the time of the deadline and actively present (poster or talk) at a chemistry-related international conference taking place outside Switzerland and lasting at least three days.

Submit conference abstract (max 2 pages), CV with list of publications (max 2 pages), and a signed recommendation letter from PhD advisor (pdf).
