International Environmental Olympiad

The International Environmental Olympiad (IEnvO) is a competitive environmental science olympiad featuring a Global Grand Test as a qualifying individual assessment and an International Final Round with team-based materials analysis and case presentations. The Global Grand Test is a 150-minute individual exam with 300 multiple-choice questions across Atmosphere, Water, Land, Biodiversity, and Human Activity. Top performers advance to the International Final Round, which includes team collaboration, materials analysis, and a 7-minute team presentation. Awards include individual grade certificates and Gold, Silver, Bronze distinctions, as well as school team recognitions.

Currently enrolled high school students (grades 9-12), students graduating in 2027 or later; the page also lists students graduating in 2026 or earlier, gap year students not currently enrolled, college or university students, and students without institutional support. Registration requires a school or institutional advisor to register the student.

Students register via a school or institutional advisor who completes online registration through the official IEnvO registration portal and then receive confirmation email with competition details and study materials.
