Student Travel & Workshop Support

A program providing travel and workshop support for students to attend CDC 2026. The travel support is intended to increase the likelihood that students present their papers and participate in the IEEE Control Systems Society community by covering at least partial lodging expenses applied in advance. Workshop support covers partial lodging to facilitate attendance at workshops held the day before the conference. Students are responsible for any other costs not covered, including registration.

Partial lodging expenses applied in advance; limited workshop lodging support; option to add one guest at additional cost for awarded students.

Applicants must be student members of both IEEE and IEEE Control Systems Society at the time of conference registration, be authors or co-authors of a paper accepted for presentation at CDC 2026, register at the conference, and present a paper. A letter of support from the applicant's advisor on institutional letterhead is required.

Complete the online form, save the emailed form responses as a PDF and submit to PaperPlaza as a “Student support” submission; advisor must upload a signed institutional letter of support via PaperPlaza.
