AIxBio Hackathon

A weekend hackathon focused on the intersection of AI and biosecurity, addressing topics such as DNA synthesis screening, pandemic early warning, and practitioner tools. Participants work in teams over three days to develop tools, prototypes, and research addressing gaps in biosecurity infrastructure. The event included both online and in-person local hubs and culminated in prizes and recognition for winning projects. Organisers include Apart Research, BlueDot Impact and the Cambridge Biosecurity Hub.

Open to researchers, engineers, biosecurity professionals, and AI safety enthusiasts.
