World Food Forum Startup Innovation Awards 2026

The World Food Forum Startup Innovation Awards (SIA), powered by MassChallenge Switzerland, is a global platform to spotlight youth-led startups using technology to transform agrifood systems, end global hunger and advance the SDGs. Selected startups gain access to the MassChallenge Switzerland Accelerator in Lausanne with mentorship, networks and growth opportunities, and may receive travel support to the flagship event in Rome, Italy. The awards include four categories and special awards with cash prizes and accelerator invitations.

Cash prizes (at least USD 7,500 per category for winners, USD 2,500 for runners-up, plus USD 10,000 for the overall winner), invitation to the MassChallenge Switzerland Accelerator, mentorship, tailored curriculum, and travel support for finalist teams.

Startups must be youth-led, with at least one founder or C-level executive between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application; participants will pitch online and may participate in the MassChallenge Switzerland accelerator and attend the Rome flagship event.
