Sino-Thai International Summer School on High Energy Physics and Astrophysics in 2026

A 17-day international summer school providing an introduction to current research in high energy and astroparticle physics through lectures, hands-on training and cultural exchange. It is intended for beginning graduate students and more senior non-expert researchers. The programme includes lectures by invited experts, hands-on training on detector development and data analysis, and possible visits to large-scale scientific facilities. The local host is the School of Physics, Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China.

Lectures by invited experts, hands-on training on muon detector development and data analysis, cultural exchange activities, and potential visits to large-scale scientific facilities (JUNO/CSNS/HIAF/CiADS) depending on budget.

Intended for beginning graduate students and more senior non-expert researchers; expected international participants include bachelor’s students, master’s students, PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members (examples listed from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar).
