Young Professional Programme

A 12-month fellowship combining innovation and entrepreneurship training with placements at commercial companies, industry or biotechnology innovation hubs. The programme includes 6 weeks of core training, 6 weeks of innovation and entrepreneurship training, up to a 4-month international rotation, and a placement period focused on producing an outcome such as a product, patent, research paper, grant or job offer. Fellows receive mentoring (minimum two co-mentors) and training in transferable skills including leadership, research management, grantsmanship and communication.

Targets future leaders in Africa, living in Africa, or from the diaspora.
