Altair Global Student Contest 2024–2025

An international student competition run by Altair that invites students to showcase engineering and design projects using Altair software, with a special emphasis on robotics and mechatronics. The contest runs from October 2024 to June 2025 and requires participants to submit a video explaining their project's methodology and results. Cash prizes and team sponsorships are awarded quarterly and via special FIRST-related awards. Participants are encouraged to use Altair HyperWorks, RapidMiner or student-friendly tools such as Altair Inspire, Altair AI Studio and Altair PSIM.

Quarterly cash prizes (USD 2,000/1,000/500), three FIRST team sponsorships of USD 5,000 each, and three student ambassadorships up to USD 1,000 each.

The competition is open to all students who wish to demonstrate engineering and design talents.

Students must submit a video explaining the project's methodology and results; projects should use Altair software and are encouraged to use tools such as Altair Inspire, Altair AI Studio or Altair PSIM.
