2026 ACM Europe Summer School on “HPC Computer Architectures for AI and Dedicated Applications”

A five-day summer school on high-performance computing (HPC) and AI with lectures, invited talks, hands-on exercises and networking. It targets young computer science researchers and engineers and outstanding MSc students, bringing together academia and industry. The event includes practical sessions, a tour of the MareNostrum 5 supercomputer and talks on quantum computing and RISC-V prototypes. Attendance is limited to 60 participants and takes place in Barcelona, Spain.

Accommodation in shared rooms, catering for the duration, a certificate, a complimentary one-year ACM student membership with associated electronic subscriptions and access to online books/videos/courses; limited travel grants for some applicants.

The summer school addresses young computer science researchers and engineers and is open to outstanding MSc students.
