International School for Young Astronomers (ISYA) 2026

ISYA 2026 is the 48th edition of the International School for Young Astronomers, a three-week intensive school delivering up-to-date lectures and practical tutorials in theoretical and observational astrophysics. It is aimed at advanced undergraduates and early graduate students to broaden their perspective across astronomical subfields and develop technical skills for data analysis and research. The programme includes research projects using current observational and simulation data and a career development workshop, plus cultural activities in Vietnam.

Three-week programme of lectures and practical tutorials; research projects using current observational and simulation data; career development workshop; cultural immersion activities. Approximately 30-40 students will be selected.

Targeted at senior undergraduates, early MSc/PhD students and equivalent early-career students in Astronomy, with emphasis on applicants from the Asia-Pacific region.
