Nyári diákmunka 2026 program

A government-run summer student work programme that enables full-time students to gain work experience and earn income during the summer. The scheme allows employers to apply for wage subsidies for students employed over the summer months. Subsidy amounts differ by job type. The programme covers fixed-term employments beginning and ending in July–August 2026.

Participants receive summer employment, work experience and personal income; employers may receive wage subsidies for employed students.

Applicants must be 16–25 years old, hold a full-time (daytime) student status, register as a service requester at the district (járási) or Budapest district (fővárosi kerületi) office, and must not be in an employment relationship or have an entrepreneurial status.

Students must register as service requesters at the district or Budapest district office; employers submit subsidy applications to the district or Budapest district office competent for their seat, site or place of work.
