CJID Next Gen/Campus Reporter Program 2026

The CJID Next Gen/Campus Reporter Program is a 3-month internship placement with mainstream media organizations in Nigeria. It targets campus journalists, mass communication students, and recent graduates to provide hands-on newsroom experience, mentorship, and opportunities to publish accountability reports.

Hands-on experience with leading media organizations, personalized mentorship from seasoned professionals, monthly stipend, opportunities to publish accountability reports, enhanced visibility and networking within the journalism community.

Open to campus journalists who have practiced journalism on campus and demonstrated sufficient skill but are not mass communication students; graduates awaiting NYSC or participating in SIWES; must have published at least 2 accountability reports; must identify a reputable local media organization to pair with.
