Philelinkhosi Nsibande represented Eswatini in the Constructor Spring Challenge
Philelinkhosi Nsibande, a Grade 10 student from Eswatini, took part in the 2026 Constructor Spring Challenge and represented the country in an international setting. In the Introduction, Natural Sciences & Research Classic, and Computer Science & Engineering Classic sections, the student achieved 100%, while also performing strongly in other sections.
For Philelinkhosi, the challenge was more than a set of results. It was a chance to meet an opportunity that reached beyond schoolwork and into wider learning, bringing contact with international opportunities and asking the student to think beyond the classroom.
Philelinkhosi said, “I have always believed that opportunities can help young people discover their abilities and build confidence to prepare for their future.”

Philelinkhosi NsibandeLearning through competition
The student’s interests have already stretched across academic competitions and projects in physics and mathematics, science and technology, and entrepreneurship. Those experiences have encouraged steady learning and a practical approach to solving problems that affect young people and the wider community.
That wider pattern matters because it shows the Constructor Spring Challenge was part of a larger journey rather than a single moment. Philelinkhosi has used different platforms to test ideas, improve understanding and keep building confidence through action rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
In Grade 10, Philelinkhosi also improved performance by studying topic by topic and then reflecting on each topic after learning it. That routine brought stronger results across subjects and helped place the student among the top students at school.
A message for other young people
Philelinkhosi’s advice to others is direct. “Do not wait until you feel completely ready before applying for an opportunity. Start where you are, learn from every experience and keep trying.”
The student also hopes the story will encourage young people in Eswatini and beyond to believe in their potential and pursue opportunities that can open new doors. That message sits at the centre of the journey so far, alongside gratitude for the programmes and competitions that have supported growth.
