Canon Foundation in Europe Research Fellowship 2027

The Canon Foundation in Europe Research Fellowship provides fellowships for highly qualified European and Japanese researchers to conduct research across Europe and Japan. Fellowships last from a minimum of three months up to a maximum of one year, with a stipend of up to 30,000 Euros per year and pro-rata for different periods. The program supports researchers to pursue their project at a host institution in the partner region, with preference given to applicants traveling to Europe and Japan for the first time.

Financial support of up to 30,000 Euros per year for research activities, freedom to choose host institutions in Europe or Japan, eligibility for research-related costs as covered by the grant.

All Europeans are eligible to apply (including UK, Israel, Switzerland, Turkey, Balkan and Baltic countries). Applicants should have obtained at least a Master’s or PhD degree within the last ten years of applying; candidates outside this range may be considered with additional information.
