Singapore AI Safety Fellowship 2026

The Singapore AI Safety Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded international research fellowship for emerging AI researchers, engineers, and governance professionals. Fellows conduct full-time research in AI safety, AI alignment, AI governance, and frontier AI systems for three months in Singapore, working with international mentors and gaining access to a global AI safety community.

SGD 5,000 monthly stipend; fully funded accommodation in Singapore; round-trip international airfare; visa support; up to USD 30,000 in AI compute resources per research project; weekly mentorship; workspace; workshops and networking opportunities; career guidance and international collaboration opportunities.

Applicants from around the world with backgrounds in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Public Policy, Economics, Philosophy, Law or related disciplines; strong technical research ability and interest in AI safety or governance.
