The Advanced Computational Biology Camp is a week-long residential and virtual research camp that teaches the R programming language and computational biology concepts using real biomedical data. It is designed for academically motivated secondary-school students and exceptional 8th graders and includes instruction, teaching assistant support, hands-on data analysis, and a group research project with a final presentation. The camp runs concurrently in-person at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and online. Programming builds from basics through plotting, statistics, packages, and introductory machine learning applied to cancer datasets.

Requisitos

Academically motivated current (2025–26) high school students and exceptional 8th grade students interested in computers, math, science, and medicine; students with or without coding experience may apply.
