Concurso de Projetos de Investigação Científica e Desenvolvimento Tecnológico (IC&DT) Açores: Transição Ecológica – Espaço – Oceano

The Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) opened a call for research projects under the IC&DT programme in the Azores focusing on Ecological Transition – Space – Ocean. The competition aims to finance research projects that advance scientific and technological development, strengthen scientific capacity, and promote interinstitutional collaboration within the Azores and Atlantic context. Eligible projects may involve sciences, engineering and applied technologies related to Space, Geosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere and Atmosphere, with a maximum project duration of 36 months (extendable by up to 12 months in justified cases).

Financial support for research projects (up to €250,000 per project) to cover eligible costs over the project duration.

Proposals must be submitted by the University of the Azores or the Fundação Gaspar Frutuoso, as the proposing institution.
