Reshaping Food Systems LatAm 2026

Reshaping Food Systems LatAm 2026 is an accelerator program run by Village Capital in partnership with the Posner Foundation of Pittsburgh. It supports eight for-profit startups addressing food loss and waste in Latin America, with emphasis on data and AI-enabled solutions. The in-person program summit takes place in Mexico City, and participants gain access to coaching, mentorship, and an international network of stakeholders in the agriculture and food sectors.

1:1 coaching on financial modeling and unit economics; participation in mock board meetings with financial institutions and investors; access to mentors and a network of founders in Latin America and the US; live and asynchronous sessions; exposure on Village Capital communications and program materials; networking opportunities with potential customers and partners.

Have legal incorporation and operations as a for-profit entity in at least one Spanish-speaking Latin American country; have a market-based solution addressing food loss/waste in Latin America; at least one full-time founder based in Latin America; compliance with local laws; MVP and less than USD 1M in equity; meaningful customer or business validation.
