Data Science: Solving Missing Data Problems in R

A four-day course held in Utrecht that teaches modern imputation and data synthesis techniques using R, with hands-on labs and case studies. The course covers multiple imputation, the MICE package, diagnostics of missing data, and integrating imputation into predictive modeling workflows. It follows the book "Flexible Imputation of Missing Data" and is led by experts including developers of the MICE package. Participants are expected to bring a laptop for practical sessions.

1.5 ECTS credit and a certificate; hands-on training and course materials following the referenced textbook and papers.

Participants should have basic scripting and programming knowledge in R and be familiar with basic statistical concepts and techniques; those with limited R experience should have followed a relevant introductory R course beforehand.
