Data Science Africa 2026 Summer School

A three-day summer school by Data Science Africa (DSA) to equip students and early-career researchers with practical skills and theoretical knowledge in modern data science. The program includes lectures, hands-on projects and applied learning on topics such as Python for data science, machine learning, multimodal AI, NLP for African languages and ethics in AI. It aims to prepare participants for research, industry and policy roles in data science.

Designed for undergraduate students, graduate students, researchers, and professionals actively working with large-scale or unique datasets; requires a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering or related fields.

Register online, download the registration package, complete the exercises in the zipped file and submit the completed exercises via the registration portal; a short beginner quiz is required.
