Shoprite SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme 2025

The Shoprite SAICA Trainee Accountant Programme provides trainees with exposure to the commerce industry across the business, academic support and mentorship to develop well-rounded Chartered Accountants. The three-year programme includes on-the-job training and rotations to ensure exposure to the SAICA learning outcomes in preparation for the SAICA APC exam. The Shoprite bursary aims to attract and fund talented Chartered Accounting students to become part of the Company’s Finance team after completing their studies.

BCom Accounting or BAcc (CA stream) degree, 65%+ aggregate, 2nd, 3rd or 4th academic year/PGDA/CTA, South African citizen, 27 years old or younger.
