Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship Programme 2026-2027

The Reuters Institute Journalist Fellowship Programme is a professional fellowship for practising, mid-career journalists to take time out from their day jobs to explore journalism in depth. Fellows work on a project during their time in Oxford, with access to seminars, networking events and discussions that enhance understanding of journalism and the media industry.

Full funding coverage, monthly stipend, travel/visa costs coverage, opportunity to undertake a personal research project and participate in seminars and networking events.

Open to working journalists and editors with a minimum of five years’ experience; applicants from all over the world who plan to return to journalism after the fellowship.
