Canada-China Scholars Exchange Program 2026-27

The Canada-China Scholars Exchange Program 2026-27 offers a fully funded opportunity for Canadians to study or conduct research in China. It covers tuition at designated Chinese universities, provides a living allowance and housing, and includes return airfare and medical insurance. The program is open to students, teachers, and professionals who want to study or learn about China and its language and culture.

Tuition waivers at participating Chinese institutions, a living allowance, free on-campus housing or housing subsidy, return airfare Canada–China, and medical insurance for the duration of the stay.

Citizens of Canada who are full-time students (undergraduate or graduate) or university professors, researchers, or mid-career professionals with interest in China.

Create an account on the My EduCanada portal, upload required documents (passport, transcripts, CV), write a letter of intent, obtain letters of recommendation, and submit the complete application by the deadline.
