Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program 2026-2027

The Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program (CCSEP) is a bilateral scholarship program led by Global Affairs Canada and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The program covers components such as tuition fees, stipends, housing or subsidies, medical insurance, and international travel support, enabling participants to deepen understanding of China and foster academic and professional links.

Tuition coverage, monthly stipend, housing or housing subsidy, medical insurance, and travel funding to China.

Applicant must have Canadian citizenship, show interest in pursuing studies or research related to China Studies, be available to study or research in China during the 2026-27 academic year, have a strong academic or professional record, and be proficient in the language of instruction (English, French, or Chinese; HSK level 3 for undergraduate, level 4 for graduate if Chinese is the language of instruction).

Apply through the My EduCanada portal by January 12, 2026 and via the CSC portal by March 1, 2026.
