UN Foundation Polio Press Fellowship for Individual Reporting 2026

The UN Foundation Polio Press Fellowship supports journalists in covering polio eradication in polio-affected countries. Selected reporters participate in virtual polio training sessions and receive funding to travel independently to countries at the forefront of polio eradication to gather stories and interviews with health workers, survivors, families and authorities.

Funding to travel to polio-affected countries, participation in virtual training sessions, and opportunities to publish stories in national or international outlets.

Open to journalists from diverse backgrounds and of all nationalities; freelance journalists with an established track record are welcome to apply; working English proficiency is required.
