Bourse d’études du Gouvernement Italien pour Tous, 2026-2027

The Italian Government Scholarship (MAECI) for 2026-2027 is a fully funded programme open to foreign nationals studying in Italy and Italian nationals living abroad. It supports studies and research/training programs in public or publicly recognized Italian institutions for the academic year 2026-2027, with the aim of international cooperation in cultural, scientific and technological fields and to promote Italian language and culture. Selected candidates may receive a total grant and related benefits as part of the programme.

Tuition/fees exemption where applicable, health/accident insurance, monthly stipend totaling 10,800 euros (in three installments), additional 3,600 euros for language/culture courses (subject to conditions).

Open to foreign citizens in Italy and Italian citizens living abroad for studies and research programs in Italian public or legally recognized universities.

Applications are open and evaluated by a committee established by the Italian diplomatic mission in the candidate’s country of origin.
