TUM International Student Scholarship

The TUM International Student Scholarship is a funding programme for international students enrolled at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It provides semester-based financial assistance to help cover living costs and study-related expenses, with the possibility to reapply each semester during the degree. The scholarship is funded by the Bavarian government and aims to support eligible students throughout their bachelor’s or master’s studies at TUM.

International students enrolled at TUM who demonstrate strong academic performance and financial need, not eligible for BAföG due to nationality, with bachelor’s students in at least the 3rd semester or master’s students in at least the 2nd semester (or 1st semester if the bachelor’s degree was completed at TUM).

Submit a digital application through the official TUM scholarship portal with required documents (motivation letter, CV, TUM grade report, two recommendation letters, and proof of income).
