The Richard Plaschka Fellowship is a funded research fellowship inviting PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and other scholars to conduct long-term research stays in Austria. It supports scholars focusing on Austria-related humanities topics and provides a pathway to engage with Austrian universities, libraries, and research networks. The programme offers a monthly grant, a research stay of 4 to 12 months (extendable to 18 months), housing assistance, health insurance support, and a travel subsidy, with the understanding that some personal funds may be required.
